Cordless is an early-stage startup with a mission to unlock voice content for customer support teams. We believe no one should be waiting on hold listening to terrible elevator music. We build tools for companies to bring together voice and text to create magical experiences for customers on a smartphone.
We are backed by Passion Capital, Entrepreneur First, Fly VC and angel investors from GoCardless, Monzo, Nested, Songkick, Onfido, FreeAgent & Assembled. We've just raised a Seed round and have a couple of paying customers.

The founders - Luba Chudnovets and Irina Bednova - met building Monzo bank, where we scaled an award-winning operations team to support over 3 million customers.
You will be working closely with founders and it will be your job to figure out how to scale these supporting functions as the company grows.
This is a non-exhaustive list of the things you will be responsible for:
- Finance (Strategic): working with founders to set budgets and forecasts, monitoring our cash burn, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to founders and investors.
- Finance (Operational): ensuring bills are paid on time, sales invoices are issued and payments collected, managing an outsourced accountant, paying Payroll, claiming R&D Tax Credits etc.
- People: ensuring the team functions effectively and is happy and fulfilled, implementing the necessary processes around team communication, recruitment, development and compensation as we grow.
- Legal: working with our lawyers where necessary and making sure that all contracts are in place with employees, contractors, suppliers and customers.
- Scaling: figuring out how to scale all of these functions as the company grows.
- You have worked at a startup before. Preferably you have some experience in at least one of the functions above.
- You are extremely dependable and organised with a bias to improve processes around you.
- You can work independently. You can take a problem, decompose it, define the completion criteria and drive it to the finish line.
- £45,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience, plus EMI options
- Remote work from anywhere in the GMT-3/+3
