Product Manager

Cordless is an early-stage startup with a mission to unlock voice content for customer support teams. We believe no one should be waiting on hold listening to terrible elevator music. We build tools for companies to bring together voice and text to create magical experiences for customers on a smartphone.

We are backed by Passion Capital, Entrepreneur First, Fly VC and angel investors from GoCardless, Monzo, Nested, Songkick, Onfido, FreeAgent & Assembled. We've just raised a Seed round and have a couple of paying customers.

We are currently a team of 10 and growing!

The founders - Luba Chudnovets and Irina Bednova - met building Monzo bank, where we scaled an award-winning operations team to support over 3 million customers.

About this role

You will be the first Product Manager at Cordless. As part of this role, you will:

  • Develop our understanding of customer needs and build a strategy to help them deliver great customer service and feel more in control of their operations. You will lead on user research and hypotheses testing.
  • Work iteratively and collaboratively with our engineering and design team to create meaningful value for our customers and meet our business objectives.
  • Get stuff done. Build, iterate, improve and ship fast. You will lead on prioritisation, design, development and delivery.
  • Define and monitor the core metrics to measure the success of our product and new features. You will use this data to bring more value to our customers and help us hit our goals.
  • Maintain our knowledge base and enable the team to build a shared understanding of our strategy, purpose and day-to-day tasks across the company.
  • Evolve our process and product culture as we grow.
Who we’re looking for
  • You are a seasoned product manager. Preferably with experience in an early-stage startup.
  • You have been in charge of the full cycle of product development from conception to user adoption. Preferably in B2B.
  • You know what good product culture looks like.
  • You can work independently. You can take a problem, decompose it, define the completion criteria and drive it to the finish line.
What we offer
  • £60,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience, plus EMI options
  • Remote work from anywhere in the GMT-3/+3
  • 24 days off / year + bank holidays
  • Respect of your time and a healthy work / life balance.
What we value
  • Clear and empathetic communication. It is a key component to both building a team where everyone can do their best work and building a product customers want to use.
  • Healthy working habits and life outside work. We believe that people perform best when they are rested and happy. We also believe that putting in more hours should be the last thing to optimise for.
  • The absence of cords.
